Welcome to my Blog Series + Announcement!

Welcome to my blog series! There are a lot of "firsts" in this one—first website, first blog, first book!

I wanted to start off by saying a big THANK YOU for the outpouring of support and positive thoughts that have come my way since my publishing announcement earlier this week. I am truly humbled.

I also wanted to give a special shout-out to my beautiful, seven-year-old niece. Upon hearing the news, she excitedly told me that she was also a published author and proceeded to read to me her book on cougars.

I wasn't quite expecting to write my first blog and announcement so soon as I'm still reaching out to people but it's all great. Due to some "accidental clicking", Amazon e-book pre-order is available now. Kobo e-book pre-ordering will made available in mid-October. Release date for my book will be Tuesday, November 8, 2022.

I wish I could open it up sooner but self-publishing is a one-person show and I have a LOT to do between now and launch day.

And on that note…. As a new author, my journey has been a challenging yet rewarding experience. At the beginning of this process, I was totally oblivious to what lay ahead and how difficult this journey would be. Through my blog posts, I hope to make it just a little easier for those wanting to embark on a similar endeavour. I will be sharing my perspective on this writing journey, sharing my learnings, and answering any burning questions that come my way.

At times, I have wanted to crawl under the covers, overwhelmed with everything I have to do. Other times, I have been elated with the next step of the journey. If anything, this process has been nothing less than an emotional rollercoaster. But I'm here. I was able to get through it because I believed in the story, stuck with it, and embraced my learnings throughout the process. Of course, I've made mistakes but that's just part of the journey.

After all the blood, sweat, and tears, to have a completed book is a huge accomplishment. I never thought I would be where I am now and I am so grateful that I am.

I couldn’t be happier with the finished product.
